In June of 2004 Mark Caise acquired a 1991 Toyota Camry DX for $100 from his friend Nick. Without having a clue of what to do spent the next few months gutting the inside of the car. After a few months into the project it seemed like a long shot to get the car on the track for the 2005 season. While going to school full time in another state, and his father working on the car when he could, time was not on their side.

After a failed attempt with a safe roll cage MCM was assisted by JMD Chassis. With a roll cage in it became a scramble to get the rest of the car done. While MCM was not ready for the first two races, they were for the third race, which it ended up raining.

The next week MCM showed up at the Speedbowl with a new car and new trailer. After some confusion with a track official MCM did not make a single practice lap. Without practice and not even sure if the car would go fast they lined up last on the starting grid. While MCM did not win in its debut as a race team it was considered a win because the car was not wrecked and they learned valuable information that would be used down the road to produce even faster times.
