Second Race of the 2007 Season

May 23, 2007 was our second night of racing this season. We had high hopes coming into tonight but unfortunately we got side tracked on our way to three wins in a row this past Wednesday night. After starting 27th we slowly worked our way forward just avoiding accidents in the wreck-fest that it was. However coming out of turn 2 the #07 slid up in front of the 30, somehow we missed each other by less then an inch, it was pretty close from being a disaster.

The yellow came out down the back stretch so in turns 3 and 4 I reached over, put on my fans was putting my visor up when the number 36 felt the urge to ram me coming out of turn 4. It sent me sideways and he rammed my driver side door and tires. It messed up the alignment a ton and I did not have the handling I needed to fight with Craig Miner (33), Patrick Williams (78), and Brad in the 87.

The good news is a solid top five keeps us in the title hunt as we fell from first in points to second in points, only 2 points behind Patrick Williams in the number 78 Dodge Neon. Hope you all can join us out there again next Wednesday as we try to find our winning ways again and pick up our second win of the season.
