This past Wednesday night we started our sixth race of the 2007 season, and we won for the third time this year. After a strong performance last week we were told to add 50lbs to the car, and we did, 52.35lbs to be exact. Because the car has been loose lately the weight really helped the car turn, and because of that we were able to fly thru the field and when clean air was there we took advantage of it and sailed away from the field.

A couple of things from the race, good thing it ended when it did because Pat Williams in the #78 Neon was catching up to me really really quick.

Secondly yes I almost did wreck by myself in turn four with three laps to go, I hit some oil and almost spun out.

Thirdly I don't know how I did it but after being hit by the #56 who blew a tire when he was below me I was able to save the car... it was old dirt tracking there for me, considering I saw the field thru my front windshield.

And finally that was the hardest race I have drove all year, everyone is improving on their cars each race and now it is becoming much harder to get through the field. But we got a six point advantage on Pat and now I just hope I can stay ahead of him for the rest of the year because he has one fast car and is a very good driver. Hope to see everyone out there next week as we go for three in a row... again.

And of course I must thank my mom, brother and dad for all the help they have given me this year. Also I want to thank Shantok Motors, Child's Play and School Break Day Care Centers, and Critical Signs.

Oh ya thanks Kimberly and Mom for the pictures!!
