Back At It... Again

It was a wreck-fest at the Bowl tonight to say the least. Except for the Mini Stocks, good job guys. The #30 ran great with its new setup under it, so good it was able to run wide open all the way around the Speedbowl. The problem with that is we were down on power, about 600-700 rpms. Not quite sure what the problem is but we will work on the motor for the next two weeks before we head back out, good news it that we got the handling package in the right direction as tonight we ran a totally new experimental setup and it worked out great.

The #2 was having a decent run before someone dumped him coming onto the front straight with 3 laps to go, he spun up the track but no-one got into him. He came back and finished 13th.

Both Mohegan Sun / Shantok Motors cars will be back out in two weeks (8/23/2008), as this upcoming Saturday the 16th we are not on the racing ticket as touring divisions will be at the Speedbowl, but we encourage people to go to the event even though we won't be there. $2 from each ticket sale will go to Racing Against Cancer, a great cause. If $32 is too much for you pick up a Norwich Bulletin SHOP LOCAL (it usually comes in the mail) from Thursday August 7th page A4, as there was a $5 off coupon in there for that night.
