Last night was the annual kick off meeting for the 2009 season for the Speedbowl. There was a toy drive and I saw a few tables overflowing with toys, so that's a great thing. Another great thing was the speeches by all the Exec Board Members. They were short and too the point, which is what is needed at the track from management. They said what needed to be said to assure competitors that the rumors about who was doing what was true or false. But on the same token the talking is over, lets see it happen. As a driver and car owner last night makes me feel better before spending the money and time needed to put a car out there, and honestly now that all these changes have happened and the former (nicest way I can put it) management team and officials are gone we have decided to make some changes to our own team.

We are now going to run the full 2009 mini stock schedule. We currently have funding for the few races we were planning on doing for 2009 on a limited schedule, but now are looking for a bit more to run the full schedule. If the right funding gets put in place then we will be ready to contend each week for the wins. We have a new motor on the way, we have some new setups that we are ready to try, and I promise that MCM will be back to its winning ways in 2009!!
